Glenbard West to Present “Radium Girls”

Glenbard West will present the play “Radium Girls” Apr. 27-29, 2017.

“Radium Girls” is a fast moving drama inspired by a true story of the 1920’s. When girls who paint watches with radium fall ill with a mysterious disease, Grace, a dial painter, fights for her day in court vs the U.S. Radium Corporation. Called “powerful” and “engrossing” by critics, Radium Girls offers an unflinching look at the peculiarly American obsession with health, wealth, and the commercialization of science.

Tickets for reserved seats are available for $8.00 and available by calling (630)469-8600 or sending an email to mike_fox@glenbard.org. Tickets will also be available at the door. The play will be presented at 7:30 pm Apr. 27-29 at Glenbard West, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
