Turn in the Student Activity Code Form
ALL students participating in the after school theatre program need to complete the Activity Code with a parent signature. Students will not earn points towards becoming part of the honor society for theatre (the International Thespian Society) if the form is not turned in. The form only needs to be completed once for the entire school year and should be given to Theatre Secretary Michelle.

Theatre Club
Meetings every Thursday after school.
Join the largest and most active group on campus, Theatre Club! Whether you like to act or help out behind the scenes, Theatre Club is for you. The club meets every Thursday after school in the auditorium balcony. Attending these meetings is a great way to find out about all the upcoming club activities and learn how to get involved with the shows.

Theatre Parents' Guild (TPG)
Hey parents, want to help out?  The Theatre Parents' Guild is for you.  We help the Theatre Club in a number of different ways. TPG:

  • Creates fundraising events and assists with Theatre Club fundraisers
  • Organizes cast/crew meals for dress rehearsals
  • Creates theatre outing possibilities for students (e.g., Broadway in Chicago, plays at other area high schools, college productions) and arranges transportation
  • Assists with publicizing theatre productions
  • Assist swith technical aspects of theatre productions
  • Helps organize Cast/Crew Parties for Friday and Saturday nights of main stage productions
For more information, contact Mike Fox at

 Who we are
Glenbard West Theatre is open to all students who are interested in performance or working behind the scenes. For those interested in the technical and business aspects of the productions, we will train you, no experience is necessary. We present three main stage productions each year including a fall musical, winter drama and spring comedy. In addition, we have a studio series in the Black Box which features new student playwrights and our improvisational troupe ‒ That One Group.

Theatre Club meetings are held every Thursday after school in the auditorium balcony where students learn how to get involved in upcoming shows and enjoy fun social events. Members of the Theatre Club who accrue enough points by active involvement throughout the year are honored at the Theatre Awards Night in May and are inducted into the International Thespian Society, an honor society for high school theatre students. The sponsors are Mr. Fox, Mr. Moran.
