8th Grade Family Curriculum Night. January 15, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2029 and their families to Glenbard West for our 8th Grade Family Curriculum Night on Wednesday, January 15, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. This evening is an opportunity for us to share information about our academic offerings, summer school enrichment opportunities, and the registration and enrollment process.

We will begin our evening in the auditorium with Principal Ben Peterselli’s message to families at 6:30 p.m. From there, department chairs and staff from each content area, along with our summer school principal, will be stationed around the building to provide information and answer questions.

Families will receive an email from our Director of School Counseling, Jeremiah Wiencek, during the week of January 6th which will include the course recommendations from our placement meetings with our partnering sender schools. Here is an initial letter(link) to prepare you for the email that will go home for your reference. Please be on the lookout for additional electronic communication from the School Counseling office with more specifics and a step-by-step process walking your family through the entire high school enrollment process.
