The Sycamores are not your typical family–they collect snakes, make fireworks, and dance around the house in their pursuit of self-fulfillment. Alice, the “normal” granddaughter, falls in love with her boss’s son, the heir of a business empire. The two get engaged and Alice’s now-fiancé and his parents accidentally show up to meet the eccentric Sycamore family a day early, setting off a series of hilarious events.

“You Can’t Take It With You” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Apr 17 through Apr 19 in the Larry Shue auditorium at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. Tickets are $10. Purchase tickets at https://search.seatyourself.biz/webstore/accounts/glenbardwest/buy-tix
